Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a musical and comedic performing arts environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, ingredients, and techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations within the bar area.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and payments.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Ability to handle crowds
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
