Extension Educators Coordinator 2, EFNEP - Cuyahoga County

This is a regular full time position located at the OSU Extension office in Cleveland, Ohio and will be conducting programming in Cuyahoga County, as well as Lorain County. Additional duties in other counties as needed.

Using standardized teaching materials, teach nutrition and other nutrition-related topics to low-income youth and/or parents or caregivers of youth participating in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in a variety of community settings. Recruit program groups through networking and collaborating with other individuals, community agencies, schools, and organizations. Use surveys to assess adults and youth before and after the series of lessons. Participate in staff development and training opportunities to increase knowledge of nutrition topics and successful recruitment and teaching methods. Perform related work as required. This is a grant-funded position that is renewable by the sponsoring agency & by OSU.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this profile is $15.86 - $20.74/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
