Role Description The Coordinator of Stewardship and Donor Experience is a full-time, on-site role located in Lima, OH. This position is responsible for planning and implementing stewardship activities that recognize, engage, and retain donors, including personalized communications, impact reports, and acknowledgments. The coordinator will manage donor events and experiences, collaborate with campus leadership and advancement staff, and ensure consistent, timely follow-up to enhance relationships with donors and friends of the campus. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate donor records, tracking stewardship plans, generating reports, and supporting fundraising campaigns with thoughtful donor-centered messaging. The role also involves working closely with internal and external partners to align stewardship initiatives with Ohio State Lima’s strategic priorities and values.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft clear, donor-centered messages and reports.
- Experience with relationship management, customer service, or donor relations, demonstrating a commitment to respectful, inclusive engagement.
- Organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines, events, and initiatives accurately.
- Comfort with data entry and basic data analysis, using CRM or donor management systems and standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to partner effectively with colleagues, campus leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in higher education advancement, fundraising, or stewardship is preferred.
