Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server/Prep Cook to join our team at Paul's Place Restaurant and Bistro located inside of Pine Hill on the campus of The Ohio Eastern Star Home.
In this role, you will play a vital part in food preparation, taking orders and customer service and ensuring that our residents receive delicious meals as well as severing the residents in the elegant restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes
- Taking orders, placing orders in to the kitchen
- Serving drinks, and meals to the residents and guests at the restaurant
- Taking payment or submitting billing to office for residents
- Helping to do the clean up at the end of each day in the sitting area as well as the main kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support the head cook in daily kitchen operations and meal service.
- Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and measuring as needed for various dishes.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal residents and guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred.
- Customer service, hostess or server would be preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
