Position Description
As a Quality Assurance Analyst at OX, you will be a detail-oriented and motivated individual who will be the guardian of quality for the digital products we create, from e-commerce websites and mobile applications to complex enterprise platforms. You will work closely with our designers, developers, and project managers to ensure that every project we deliver meets the highest standards of functionality, usability, and performance before it reaches the end-user. Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various digital projects
- Identify, document, and meticulously track defects using Jira or other project management software. Provide clear, concise, and actionable defect reports for the development team
- Validate software specifications are complete, consistent, and testable early in development, and verify that completed software meets clients’ business needs
- Ensure seamless functionality and visual consistency of web applications across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing features
- Actively participate in project meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Communicate QA status, risks, and concerns effectively to the project team and stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of OX QA processes and best practices
Requirements
- 1-3 years of hands-on QA Analyst and project leadership experience
- Hands-on experience with project and defect management software, particularly JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Adept with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium or Playwright
- Skilled in API testing for seamless integrations, particularly using Postman
- Independent and resourceful, able to identify and tackle challenges proactively
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology, and continuous integration.
- Experience testing mobile, web, and cross platform applications, back-end services, and consumer analytics
Experience in the following is a plus:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Agency/Consulting experience for client-facing agility
- Experience in B2B e-commerce projects
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter)
