Job Overview:
Seeking a receptionist/data entry clerk to work in a busy healthcare organization. Responsibilities include entering data into healthcare specific software from paper and online resources. Ideal candidate will be computer savvy and must have excellent keyboarding and 10-key skills. Candidate must present well in written and verbal communication. Position also requires candidate to perform local daily courier duties. Must be outgoing, professional and have critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Transfer healthcare demographic data from paper to computer
- Transfer data from various sources into our billing database
- Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available
- Correct and modify inaccurate files and records
- Gather, sort and manage paper documents
- Greet patients and clients upon arrival
- Answer telephones and general queries
- Make daily courier route locally
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as data entry clerk
- Prefer 6 months healthcare experience
- Fast, accurate typing and 10-key skills
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Great attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Typical end time:
- 2:00PM
Typical start time:
- 9:00AM
This Job Is:

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
