Job Description
The Oaks at Flower Mound is seeking friendly and dependable Servers / Dining Associates to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent dining service to residents while creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up dining room tables with proper flatware, glassware, linens, and condiments
- Ensure tables are clean, organized, and ready for service
- Serve residents in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
- Take beverage orders, serve meals, and clear dishes appropriately
- Maintain proper service standards (serve from left, clear from right)
- Reset tables and clean dining areas after meals
- Sweep and mop floors as needed
- Assist with special events and functions
- Maintain a positive, friendly attitude with residents, families, and guests
- Support a clean, safe, and organized dining environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous serving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use both hands for service duties
