Pizza Restaurant Team Member

Job Summary
The O on Lane is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Pizza Restaurant Team Member to support daily restaurant operations and provide excellent service to guests. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, order service, customer interactions, cleaning, and other restaurant duties while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process transactions when assigned.
• Assist with preparing pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Assemble pizzas and menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate ovens and other kitchen equipment safely after appropriate training.
• Monitor cooking times and help ensure food is prepared properly.
• Package dine-in, takeaway, and pickup orders accurately.
• Verify orders for completeness and communicate special requests to the kitchen team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, counter, and dining areas.
• Restock ingredients, packaging materials, utensils, and other supplies.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables and maintaining guest areas.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.
• Help create a welcoming, efficient, and positive restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, pizza shop, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to food quality, cleanliness, and order accuracy.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Comfortable learning kitchen equipment and restaurant systems.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to assist with a variety of restaurant duties.
• Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods during shifts.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
