As a key strategic partner, you will lead the launch of our inaugural Minnesota boutique, opening in Summer 2026 in Minneapolis North Loop. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing wellness brand and shape the culture and operational excellence from the ground up. The General Manager will be responsible for the leadership and mentoring of the Experience Guides (front desk) and Massage Therapists while overseeing seamless operations of the business, top-level guest experience, and ensuring profitable business practices. Responsibilities
- Recruitment, hiring, and continuous development of the team, both front desk and Massage Therapist, mentoring and coaching and managing performance for team members to excel in their roles and achieve their goals.
- Next-level guest experience, addressing online reviews and community engagement with the ability to resolve guest issues and employee relations in a manner reflective of The NOW Brand Truths.
- Drive membership and retail sales.
- Build and maintain team schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency while managing payroll and scheduling demands in a timely manner.
- Perform accounting duties and boutique operations, such as recording daily cash flow, managing payroll, and executing inventory. Financial acumen is essential for adhering to and monitoring budgets and driving sales.
- Upholds our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance (including massage therapy laws).
- Planning and overseeing promotions and collaborations with local businesses to enhance our brand presence.
- 2 years of management experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Sales-driven with a proven ability to build a loyal guest base
- Strong business acumen (P&L, budgets, labor forecasting)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Wellness, spa, or membership-based business experience preferred
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be a team leader and enjoy mentoring people
