Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by properly handling laundry, linens, and guest amenities
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, and industrial cleaning techniques to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guest needs
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff
- Follow established health and safety protocols to maintain compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on detailed cleanliness
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for delivering excellent guest service is essential
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
