Duties
- Assist in our mailroom. Help with packaging newspapers for postal delivery. Load and unload shipments using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Operate pallet jack and forklift for loading.
- Provide backup driving support during evening hours. You would serve as a "Back up" driver should one of our drivers need to be off work or is out sick.
- Ensure heavy lifting is performed safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts but no a must.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks consistently
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
- Must be able to stand of feet for long periods while working in the mailroom.
