An Oracle Database Administrator Exadata GIS is responsible for administering, designing, and creating databases, data integrations, and data marts. They should possess knowledge and experience in managing Exadata databases in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; ability to deploy and manage autonomous databases; knowledge about OCI network configurations; be able to design and create data marts; aptitude to work on data integrations using ETL and ELT tools like Oracle Autonomous data warehouse tooling, Talend, Informatica; possess knowledge on designing and deploying data structures for dashboarding while ensuring performance; possess knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL specially for loading data sets to Oracle databases. They should also possess good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to use data modeling software like Erwin, Visio, and MS Office products for system documentation.
Experience Required:
• Five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years in architecting and implementing ELT processes. • Four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years managing Exadata databases running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. • Three (3) years of experience within the last seven (7) years leading data mart projects. • Three (3) years of experience within the last seven (7) years of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL programming as part of ETL solution implementations. • Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years as a data warehouse architect. This should include data mart design and implementation.
Education Required:
Degrees: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Computer Sciences, or Informatics. Diplomas must be provided upon request.
Certificates: Talend Data Integration, Big Data Developer, or Talend API Services Developer Certificates. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Exadata Administration, and Autonomous Database Administration certifications. Any Azure or AWS administration certificates.
