Duration: 1 year contract OT Rate: Straight Time (Exempt)Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 40.00Onsite - Evening ShiftSkills Required:The Cloud Administrator usually works under the direction of a Manager or user agency personnel and manages or oversees all aspects of one or more Multi-Cloud IT projects while interacting with mid-level officials of similar capacity at the user agency and private sector. The Cloud Administrator determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to support customer applications requirements and deliverables, develops, modifies or provides input to project plans; implements Hybrid (On-Premise and Cloud) solutions to meet objectives; coordinates and integrates Hybrid services; manages, leads or administers project resources; monitors implementation activities and resources to mitigate risk, implements or maintains quality assurance processes, makes improvements, solves problems or takes corrective action when problems arise, gives presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project, participates in phase, milestone and final solution reviews, identifies documentation requirements or procedures; and develops and implements deployment schedules and release plans. Skilled in Host and VM provisioning, resource optimization, high availability, and preparing workloads for seamless on-premise to cloud migration.Experience Required:5 years of hands-on experience managing VMware Sphere environments (On-premise or cloud versions like AVS), including ESXi hosts, vCenter and vRA. Performed and led successful 3 migrations from VMWare on-premise to VMWare cloud versions or VMWare on-premise to other types of hypervisors using HCX and any other similar technologies.Education Required:This classification requires the possession of (a) a bachelor's degree, AND (b) a current certification in one or more of the following technologies: VMware Cloud Professional Azure/AWS/GCP Architect Certifications Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. The certifications are required and may not be substituted with additional experience.Additional Information:Work Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday and Monday off. May require additional hours but will be notified 24 hours in advance.
