Job Title: Food Service Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Food Service Associate to join our team at The Nomadic Glizzy. This role involves taking customer orders, assembling food items accurately, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders accurately
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions responsibly
- Assemble and package food orders according to company standards
- Hand orders to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front and back of house
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with basic food preparation as needed
- Learn and perform opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and securing the shop
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player
- Willingness to learn all aspects of daily operations
