General Description for RHC Medical Assistant: The Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital Rural Health Clinic MA is responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients under the supervision of the nurse manager or physician. Assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care.
Must be enrolled in a Medical Assistant Program, have completed required clinical hours, and obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Must maintain current CPR certification. Ability to demonstrate accuracy, dependability, and good communication skills. Must be highly organized and able to use office equipment effectively. Must be flexible, dependable, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to change. Ability to respond to emergency situations.
