AREA MANAGER:

- Wage: $18-$20/hour
- Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Shift: Evening Shift
- Area: Broome County
- Reports To: Regional Manager
- Supervises: Cleaners, Site Supervisors, Area Supervisors
- Basic Function: Supervise and participate in the cleaning functions of assigned areas to conform to direct cost budgets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
- Monitor and control budgeted hours for assigned locations.
- Perform and inspect cleaning tasks to ensure that all work is performed to company and customer quality standards to assist in account retention.
- Assist in the development of site work schedules. Area Managers are included in the work schedule.
- Assist Site Supervisors as they indoctrinate and train new cleaning personnel as necessary at assigned site.
- Assist Cleaners and Site Supervisors as they allocate and perform work as required to accommodate personnel shortage or special requirements.
- Assist employees in maintaining, submitting, and signing necessary time records.
- Resolve day-to-day operational problems and inform immediate supervisor of any issues.
- Make recommendations for advancement, disciplinary action, or termination to Regional Manager.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Regional Manager.
Qualifications Include, but not limited to:
- Follow an aggressive schedule and keep commitments.
- Operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
- Be able to pay attention to detail.
- Manage time efficiently.
- Observe safety/security procedures and comply with policies.
