The Nicol Home is seeking skilled dietary staff members to cook for both morning and evening shift meals as able. Morning shift is typically 6am to 1pm and night shift is typically from 12pm to 8pm. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve appropriate meals to residents in a timely fashion based on recipes provided from supervisor
- Learn proper diet orders; such as mechanical soft or puree
- Provide residents with alternatives that are quick meals if needed; Burger, Grilled Cheese, etc.
- Clean dishes after meals, and workspaces, in addition to mopping the dining room floor
- Communicate with others about concerns during mealtimes appropriately
- Must be able to work independently
The Nicol Home operates 24-hours-a-day and 7-days-per-week. Ideal candidates have current certification in CPR/AED/First-Aid, and preferably some experience in a long-term care setting or assisted living community.
