Role Description The Regional Director is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing program operations and growth within an assigned region. This includes coordinating and supporting instructors, managing class schedules, and ensuring high-quality delivery of computer science and economics content to learners aged 11–14. The Regional Director will build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and families to expand program reach. They will track program performance, gather feedback from stakeholders, and recommend improvements to curriculum delivery and operations. The role also involves collaborating with the leadership team on regional strategy, outreach initiatives, and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in program or regional management, preferably in education, youth programs, or nonprofit settings.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, including managing schedules, resources, and multiple stakeholders across a region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging educators, parents, partners, and students in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Background or strong interest in education, particularly in computer science, economics, or STEM-related programs for youth.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms for virtual meetings, documentation, and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior experience working with middle school–aged students or youth-serving organizations is highly beneficial.
