Overview:
The Program Operations Manager is the operational backbone of IT Girl Clubs within their assigned city. This role owns the execution, coordination, and logistics of monthly in-school programming, ensuring facilitators, materials, schedules, partners, and volunteers (if applicable) are fully prepared. We are currently looking for a Program Operations Manager to manage our in-school technology program logistics. Your day-to-day will include working directly with our Program Director for program delivery agenda and material preparation, school partners, facilitators, and volunteers (if applicable) to ensure their success in program delivery. The Program Operations Manager is accountable for the successful execution of monthly IT Girl Club sessions at assigned schools, ensuring all logistical, staffing, and operational elements are completed on time and to standard. Key Responsibilities:
Program Management, Operations & Logistics:
- Accountable for the successful execution of monthly IT Girl Club sessions at assigned schools, from preparation through post-session follow-up.
- Act as point of contact for assigned schools for coordination including facilitators, program schedules, off-site field trips, etc.
- Maintain program calendars and deadlines
- Ensure all stakeholders are informed of changes as soon as possible
- Prevent last-minute issues through proactive planning
- Manage communication/reminders for all facilitators and volunteers regarding sessions/announcements and readiness for ‘IT Girl’ Clubs
- Manage the facilitator and volunteer pool to ensure understanding of their responsibilities pre, during, and after sessions.
- Provide ongoing feedback to facilitators
- Escalate performance or attendance issues to Program Director
- Recommend additional training or reassignment when needed
- In collaboration with the Program Director effectively plan and execute in-person program sessions led by facilitators, managing all logistics from start to finish to ensure everything runs smoothly and students have a great experience
- In collaboration with the Program Director support the progress of the school partner on-boarding checklist materials that include consent waivers, student information, technology materials, consumables, and other required materials
- Flexibility to facilitate a in-person ‘IT Girl’ if unforeseen circumstances requires facilitators to not be present (if applicable)
Student Culture, Learning & Outcomes Management:
- Manage and maintain a strong classroom culture and conduct for facilitators to ensure session success
- Through submitted materials evaluate student progress with Program Director through weekly check-ins and progress reports
Program Data Collection & Evaluation:
- In collaboration with the Program Director evaluate/report on program outcomes by managing monthly assessment submissions to students
- Manage and track facilitator collection of student information, including program attendance and engagement at the end of each session.
- Track and retain collection of each student projects and artifacts from programs at the end of the each session or semester
- Support the evaluation of policies and practices to ensure program goals are achieved end of cycle.

- Hybrid schedule; one day in office a week
Compensation:
- $28/hour, 20 hours a week
- This role is classified as a W-2 position
Qualifications:
- You are an enthusiastic leader excited to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of eager students
- You have at least 3 years of program coordination experience in the nonprofit, technology, or education sector
- You are detail-oriented and data-loving
- You are the person that your colleagues naturally gravitate to when they are trying to figure something out
- You are an excellent communicator - oral and written
- You have the ability to collaborate and work effectively on a multicultural team
- You are motivated by a fast-paced work environment and are comfortable working through ambiguity
- You are proficient in Google Suite, Slack, , and Learning Management Systems
- You have experience working in a remote environment and use of requisite tools (i.e. video conferencing, messaging, etc.)
Preferred, but not required:
- An understanding of core technology concepts
- AI, HTML/CSS, Data Science, Cybersecurity, UX/UI Design
- Background in student learning, pedagogy and curriculum development
- Background in management, workshop / classroom facilitation and professional development
- Superior interpersonal, customer service and community relationship-building abilities
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree
