The Newell Group has been engaged to locate a Site Procurement Manager- Plant Materials for a great client in the Western North Canton, Ohio Area.
We are looking for local candidates for this position. No relocation assistance for this role. This is an onsite role with travel.
My client is a 60 year old company experiencing substantial growth looking to expand their procurement organization has an immediate need for a Site Procurement Manager- Plant Materials to lead procurement strategies within the category (3-10 yrs.
experience in multi-site procurement).
This role will manage the procurement for plant supplies and work with Category Manager for raw materials to ensure material flow for production and help on strategic initiatives for the organization.
We are looking for experience in MRO, Indirect Commodities, Steel, Rebar, Concrete, Rock, Sand, Fly Ash, or raw materials in a multi-site manufacturing company for this important position.
If you have the category purchasing experience (Manager, Sr. Buyer), suppler development, negotiation skills, and a desire to make an impact, then reach out me for more details. Manufacturing, Steel and Concrete Industry experience is highly preferred.
