Job Summary
The New State Cinema is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Team Lead to help oversee daily operations and support our staff in delivering an exceptional movie-going experience. This position offers a unique four-days-on, four-days-off schedule, providing a balanced work-life arrangement while ensuring leadership coverage throughout the week, including weekends as determined by the rotation.
As Team Lead, you will serve as the primary point of contact for front-line staff during your shifts, help maintain a welcoming and clean environment, and ensure our guests receive outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and experience.
- Oversee daily theater operations including customer relations, stock replenishment, and cleanliness.
- Manage scheduling and shift management to optimize staffing efficiency.
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, cashiering, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, particularly in sales team supervision or assistant manager roles.
- Strong communication skills and customer service.
- Demonstrated skills in customer service excellence and managerial communication
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a bonus - but not required - to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
