The New Dermatology Group is seeking a motivated, organized, and personable HR Generalist specializing in recruiting and onboarding.
This position will lead recruitment efforts for clinical, administrative, and operational roles across multiple clinic locations. The HR Generalist will manage the candidate experience from initial application through onboarding while partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate is an engaging communicator who enjoys connecting with people, managing multiple open positions, and creating a welcoming experience for candidates and new employees.
What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and understand position requirements
- Create, update, and post clear, engaging job advertisements
- Manage job postings across really
- Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct candidate outreach and phone screens
- Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Schedule onsite job shadows and other pre-employment activities
- Prepare offer letters and communicate employment details to selected candidates
- Provide timely updates to candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain communication with candidates who may be considered for future opportunities
- Complete professional reference and employment verifications
- Ensure candidates meet position-specific education, certification, and licensing requirements
- Maintain an organized pipeline of qualified candidates for frequently hired positions
Recruitment Coordination and Reporting
- Maintain accurate applicant records, interview notes, and candidate statuses
- Update recruitment trackers
- Monitor open positions and follow up with hiring managers regarding candidate decisions
- Identify challenges within the hiring process and recommend improvements
- Ensure recruiting practices remain consistent across clinic locations
- Attend job fairs, career events, and community recruitment activities as needed
- Develop relationships with colleges, training programs, and community organizations
- Support employer-branding and candidate-attraction initiatives
New-Hire Onboarding
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, references, licensing verification, and required documentation
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and new-hire paperwork
- Guide candidates through pre-employment and onboarding requirements
- Facilitate new-hire orientation and create a welcoming first-day experience
- Coordinate with managers and internal departments to ensure each new employee is prepared to begin work
- Verify completion of required forms, policies, training, and acknowledgments
- Accurately enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS
- Follow up with new employees and supervisors during the introductory period
General HR Support
- Respond to candidate and employee questions professionally and promptly
- Assist with employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives
- Support HR projects, policy communication, and administrative responsibilities as needed
- Maintain confidential personnel and recruitment records
- Provide backup support to other members of the Human Resources team
- Protect confidential employee and candidate information

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
- One to three years of experience in recruiting, Human Resources, onboarding, or a related position
- Healthcare or multi-location recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Experience using online recruiting platforms, including really, preferred
- Experience with an applicant tracking system, HRIS, or timekeeping platform preferred
- UKG Ready experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Ability to occasionally travel to clinic locations, job fairs, or recruitment events as needed
