We are looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist - Full Time
The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital is a 27-bed hospital devoted to helping patients return to an optimal level of independence after a life-altering event or diagnosis. Our knowledgeable doctors and staff work hard around the clock to ensure all our patients receive the high-quality care they need and deserve. Our specialty physicians are experts in stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, neurological disease, amputee, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a full time speech language pathologist who will be responsible for a range of services providing care to patients with neurological, speech-language, cognitive, swallowing, pragmatic, voice, and other cognitive related disorders requiring intervention by a licensed speech language pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach. Our interdisciplinary team utilizes processes to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of our patients. Qualifications
- One year of work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting (CFs are encouraged to apply, we can provide mentorship opportunities)
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology with a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association
- Current Speech Language Pathologist License with the State of Louisiana
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
