About the position
Neuropsychometrist and Neuromodulation / EEG technician
We have a 1 full-time (or 2 part-time positions) available for a neurodiagnostic and neuromodulation technician to administer neuropsychological tests, autonomic nervous system testing, electrical neuroimaging as well as non-invasive neuromodulation procedures (e.g., TMS, tDCS, tACS and tRNS) with patients presenting with various cognitive and neuropsychiatric disorders in our Voorhees, NJ location.
You will work with all age groups from approximately 2 years and older. As described below, NCBI has 5 clinical centers within the institute that services patients across the life span. We will train the successful applicant as long as you have at least a bachelor or masters degree in a clinical neuroscience related field and at least 1 year of experience working in neurodiagnostics and/or neuromodulation (e.g., TMS or EEG).
Our technicians work directly under a supervising clinical neuropsychologist and/or behavioral neurologist. They are responsible for developing professional relationships with our patients, ensuring the neurodiagnostic equipment is functioning properly, maintaining the equipment per the company's SOPs, collecting neurodiagnostic test data under standardized conditions, scoring and/or extracting the test data and preparing the test scoring sheet for analysis and interpretation.
We have our own neuropsychometry, ADOS, electrical neuroimaging, ANS and neuromodulation training programs and we support 3rd party certifications in these areas of training. Our neurodiagnostic and neuromodulation technicians are trained in the standardized administration of neuropsychological tests with children, adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of cognitive, neurobehavioral and neuropsychiatric disorders. We use a variety of neuropsychological test batteries including during brain mapping procedures.
Our technicians work within a team that consists of other neurodiagnostic technicians, mental health clinicians, clinical neuropsychologists and neurologists, SPL and cognitive rehabilitation therapists as well as other clinicians and researchers. Qualifications
At least a bachelors, preferably a masters level neuroscience related degree with at least 1-2 years experience performing neuropsychological testing or other neurodiagnostic procedures (e.g. EEGs) Excellent interpersonal skills also required. A minimum 2 year commitment is needed, but we are ultimately seeking applicants who want to build their career with NCBI in the clinical neurosciences.

We have in-house neurodiagnostic services including electrical neuroimaging and neuromodulation equipment in all of our labs and clinics, along with the ability to perform other procedures such as EMGs, EKGS and various ultrasound procedures for our research studies. We have a partnership with ImageCare for use of their MRI scanners throughout NJ for our fMRI and DTI imaging, as well as various PET studies include FDG, Amyloid and Tau.
