Position Overview
The Lifestyle & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for shaping the day-to-day experience of living in Mayfair while amplifying the community’s story across marketing channels. This individual will plan and execute events, foster neighborly connections, and support marketing efforts that reflect the spirit and vision of Mayfair. In addition to supporting Mayfair, this role will provide marketing and event support for Southstar developments in the San Antonio area, including VIDA and the future Lone Star Brewery district.
Key Responsibilities
Lifestyle & Community Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and host a year-round calendar of events for Mayfair residents (festivals, social gatherings, wellness classes, family-friendly activities)
- Create welcoming, inclusive experiences that foster a strong sense of community
- Develop and manage homeowner-exclusive programming and spaces
- Build relationships with residents, local businesses, and community partners
- Act as the on-site “face of Mayfair,” ensuring every interaction reflects warmth and hospitality
Marketing & Brand Support
- Capture and create content (photo, video, social media, email, newsletters) that showcases daily life in Mayfair
- Assist in managing social media channels, website updates, mobile app and email communications
- Support marketing campaigns, events, and promotions that drive awareness and engagement
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain brand consistency
- Help tell the ongoing story of Mayfair in an authentic and engaging way
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in event planning, marketing, hospitality, recreation or related field
- Familiarity with New Braunfels and San Antonio area a major plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Self-motivated and excited to learn new things
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Social media and tech savvy with an eye for content creation and storytelling
- Outgoing, approachable personality with a genuine passion for community-building and ability to get along with variety of personalities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events. This is not an 8-5 Monday-Friday desk job. Qualified candidates must be able to work flexible hours that include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, stand for extended periods and repeatedly life and move up to 25 lbs.
