Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling services to a diverse client population
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care and referrals
- Participate in regular clinical supervision as required by LPC-A licensure guidelines
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client mental health goals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors
Requirements:
- Active LPC-Associate (LPC-A) license issued by the State of Texas
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Ability to work under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
- Experience or coursework in trauma-informed care, CBT, or other evidence-based practices preferred
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
