We are seeking a dedicated and accountable Housekeeper to join our high-rise apartment team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities while delivering legendary customer service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean Common Areas: Daily cleaning of lobbies, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
- Apartment Turnover: Deep clean vacant apartments for new residents.
- Trash and Recycling: Remove trash and recyclables from common areas and maintain cleanliness of trash rooms.
- Glass and Window Cleaning: Clean and polish windows, glass doors, and mirrors in common areas.
- Restock Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when needed.
- Resident Requests: Respond promptly to resident cleaning requests to ensure their satisfaction.
- Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report maintenance needs, like leaks or broken fixtures, to management.
- Safety and Security: Follow building safety protocols, including proper handling of keys and access cards.
- Operate Cleaning Equipment: Safely use cleaning equipment like floor buffers and carpet cleaners, including cleaning chemicals.
- Team Collaboration: Follow instructions and work with other housekeeping staff to complete tasks efficiently.
- Event Support: Help prepare and clean common areas for special events as needed.
- Emergency Cleaning: Respond quickly to urgent cleaning needs, such as spills or accidents.
- Previous experience working in high-rise apartments or large residential buildings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Cleaning Techniques. Able to use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Attention to Detail. Able to clean thoroughly and make sure everything looks spotless.
- Physical Stamina. Able to stand, walk, bend for long periods and lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Good Time Management. Able to clean all assigned areas within a shift efficiently.
- Communication Skills. Able to communicate well with residents and staff and report any issues
- Reliability. Punctual and dependable, showing up on time and ready to work.
- Basic Security Awareness. Understands how to keep building areas secure while cleaning.
- Teamwork and Independence. Able to work alone or with others, depending on the job.
- Flexibility. Willing to work different hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
