The Development Coordinator works on a variety of fundraising activities in support of approved tactics and provides administrative and/or program support.

The Development Coordinator may be responsible for various activities, including donor list management, planning logistics of meetings, Legacy Club notifications, maintaining donor files, and pulling global fundraising reports. They are responsible for data quality assurance and updating data, such as contact information or bulk data uploads. They may provide program information to prospects and donors, and assist with other fundraising support, such as event coordination, sending acknowledgements, or basic research, as needed. The Coordinator uses the available fundraising management system to produce donor reports, perform analysis and research, and track prospects and donors. They apply established processes and practices to improve effectiveness. The Coordinator may have substantial contact with staff, donors, legal and financial professionals. They will provide other staff with information they need to make decisions and solve problems. They will perform administrative functions as required.

The Development Coordinator will need to be located in New York City, Chicago, Houston, Seattle, Charlotte, NC or the Washington, DC. Metro area. The Coordinator will need to work from a TNC office a minimum of three days a week in the first year.

In this role, you will operate at the center of Regional Strategic Development (RSD) activity—coordinating workflows, managing data, and ensuring fundraisers have the information and tools they need to be effective.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.

Salary Information

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $26.89 - $39.47 per hour. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
