Experienced Blackjack Dealer

The Nash Casino is seeking a skilled and professional Blackjack Dealer with proven experience in delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining the integrity of the game. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of casino operations, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests. Must have availability to work a Saturday and/or Sunday morning or mid shift.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct Blackjack games efficiently and accurately according to casino policies and gaming regulations.
• Ensure game integrity by monitoring player behavior and enforcing rules.
• Handle chips, cards, and cash transactions with precision and discretion.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized table area.
• Report any irregularities or suspicious behavior to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with other dealers and floor staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay current on game rules, promotions, and casino policies.
• Verifies the accuracy of the table bankrolls and inspects all decks of cards prior to use.
• Must be knowledgeable and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
• Monitor guest behavior and report suspicious activity or irregularities to floor supervisors.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience dealing Blackjack in a regulated gaming environment.
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Blackjack rules, payouts, and procedures.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass an audition to ensure skill level is adequate
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
• Must pass all pre-screening and background checks.
• Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and have no active disciplinary action during the last six months.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes morning, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
