Job Summary: The New Dealer Training position provides an opportunity for individuals to learn the necessary skills and techniques required to become a professional casino dealer. As part of the training program, the dealer trainee will learn how to deal Baccarat, interact with players, and maintain a smooth gaming environment. This is Temporary position that involves both classroom instruction and practical on-the-job experience under the supervision of experienced trainers. Upon Successful completion of training, you will be required to pass an audition to be considered for a permanent full time or part time positions at the Nash Casino. Training is paid at $18/hour. Upon successful completion of an audition, your rate will adjust to reflect the pay scale of your assigned position, plus tips.

- Gain hands-on experience in dealing cards, handling chips, and using casino equipment like card shufflers proficiently.
- Understand and memorize the payout systems, betting options, and other critical game aspects.
- Learn to manage the pace of the game while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Practical Experience:
- Practice dealing games under the supervision of experienced trainers.
- Work through live simulations and scenarios to build confidence and competency.
- Receive constructive feedback to improve skills, accuracy, and speed.
- Learn how to engage with players in a friendly, professional manner.
- Learn how to communicate clearly with customers regarding game rules, betting procedures, and payout calculations accurately.
- Handle player disputes or complaints calmly and professionally, with guidance from supervisors as needed.
- Maintain a positive gaming atmosphere while ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Adhere to all gaming laws, casino policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with responsible gaming practices and company standards.

- Once training is complete, demonstrate readiness to handle a live gaming table on your own via an audition. You must pass the written and practical final in order to be offered a permanent position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks for permanent employment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
