JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with the Facilities Manager & Senior Building Engineer in creating a working environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and Team Member satisfaction.
- Ensures efficient follow-up on all work orders submitted by property management and keeps the Facilities Manager & Senior Building Engineer informed of anticipated delays in completing the requested work.
- Assists in the preparation of annual preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all property systems and equipment are serviced and maintained properly.
- Establishes positive working relationships with all vendors, fire, and safety officials.
- Performs maintenance tasks to support the entire facility.
- Stock, track and maintain supplies and equipment.
- Plan, prioritize and assign and work by shift accounting for property volumes due to special events, promotions, and holidays.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
- The ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- To provide BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
- The ability to work safely. This includes clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.
- Maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the shift.
- Ability to keep a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Knowledge of the following is preferred, but not required: HVAC (Boiler and Chiller Operation), Refrigeration (Walk-in Cooler and Freezer Maintenance), Kitchen Appliance Repair, Plumbing Repair, Building Sprinkler System and Electrical
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to work on call shifts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.

- Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and it can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must possess the manual dexterity to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and tools requiring the ability to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
- Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
