UPPER WEST SIDE, NYC (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A warm, dynamic family in the UWS is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN/OUT NANNY M-F 8AM - 8PM to care for their vibrant 2.5-year-old son. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about early childhood development and fostering secure emotional connections. The family embraces a patient, respectful parenting style rooted in secure attachment, emotional literacy, and positive discipline, prioritizing communication over correction. They’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree and a strong understanding of child development, particularly in areas such as play therapy and emotional expression through play. The ideal candidate will be calm, present, attuned, and active—comfortable on the soccer field, able to keep up with an energetic toddler, and just as excited about a museum day as an afternoon spent building block towers.

Travel is a component of the role if you are willing—passport required—with regular trips to destinations including Bermuda, Vermont, Connecticut, and Florida, and potential visits to France. A family-provided vehicle is available in the city, and the nanny must be a confident driver as the mother does not currently drive. Spanish, French, Farsi, or Persian language skills are a plus, though not required. Candidates with a background in Social Work are highly encouraged to apply!

The family shares their home with a lovable Siberian Husky who’s gentle, friendly, and very much a part of the household—he truly thinks he’s one of the humans! Candidates should be dog-friendly, comfortable with pets in the home, and have no related allergies. An NDA may be required prior to interviews, if selected.

The position offers a fully furnished, private two-bedroom apartment in the same Upper West Side building as the family, with luxury amenities including a kids’ club, squash and basketball courts, an indoor soccer field, and a bowling alley. The apartment may be used by 1 or both rotational providers full-time, or just during working rotations. Compensation for each role is $120,000-140K/year via payroll based on experience, with healthcare, 401(k), and additional benefits included. Qualifications

• BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
• UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
• THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
• A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
• 5 YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
• EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
