Overview
CORAL GABLES, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced PART-TIME NANNY to support their two young daughters, ages 3.5 years and 1 year, in a long-term role. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and is looking for a reliable, proactive partner to help manage daily routines, transitions, and care in a busy but loving household. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, nurturing, communicative, and genuinely enjoys being hands-on and engaged with toddlers.
The schedule is primarily weekend-focused, with coverage of 10–12 hours per day on Saturdays and Sundays, starting around 7:00–8:00 AM. In addition, the family needs evening coverage on Thursdays and Fridays from approximately 4:00–8:00/8:30 PM, with flexibility for an additional weekday shift if desired by the candidate. The family is open to structuring the role as up to five days per week to increase the likelihood of finding the right long-term fit.
Primary responsibilities include caring for both children, planning age-appropriate and engaging activities with minimal screen time, supporting routines and transitions, and fostering a calm, positive environment. The nanny should be comfortable driving the family car as needed and must have a clean driving record. Light household support related to the children is expected, including dishes, tidying play areas, and general cleanup after meals and activities. Comfort with pets is required, as the family has dogs and may occasionally need help letting them out; however, they have a dog walker. Candidates should be up to date on COVID and flu vaccinations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, warm, and confident, with a take-initiative mindset and the ability to partner closely with Mom in a collaborative way. Parents are very involved and hands-on, and the nanny should be comfortable working alongside them while also giving space when parents want focused time with their children. A positive attitude, strong energy, and genuine love for early childhood are essential. Openness to occasional travel is a bonus.
The family is offering $35/hour, paid via payroll, along with 2–5 paid time off days. The start date is ASAP.

- BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
- UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
- THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
- A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
- 5 YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
