Sales/Marketing Assistant with opportunity for advancement!

The Naked Bee is seeking a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting entry-level position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a growing brand. With multiple projects happening simultaneously, this is not an easy job! Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support various projects and initiatives including making prototypes, organize vision boards, & online research.
• Create PowerPoint presentations & Excel spreadsheets for management review.
• Conduct sales calls to customers to generate new business and maintain existing accounts.
• Assist with business development and market research activities
• Support the sales team in generating leads and prospecting new clients
• Coordinate and assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
• Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify potential opportunities
• Travel up to 50% of the year to attend trade shows.
• Assist with marketing efforts such as email campaigns, social media management, and content creation.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop sales materials and presentations.
• Provide administrative support for departmental operations, such as order processing and customer service.

• Ability to lead others on a team.
• Willingness to make decisions & take full responsibility for your work.
• Confidence to approach strangers both in person and on the phone.
• A knack for convincing others to your point of view--a key attribute to selling!
• Able to meet goals set forth by management team.
• Flawless communication skills, both written and verbal. Spelling and grammar accuracy are a must!
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Extroverted, personable & can easily collaborate on a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, taking notes & able to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, must maintain your own 'to-do' list & execute in a timely manner, finding satisfaction in crossing items off the list!
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the year.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Power Point, Excel, Word, & Outlook.
• Efficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
