Duties

• Perform professional manicure and pedicure services, including gel manicures and nail extensions
• Apply acrylic nails with precision, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal
• Conduct skin care treatments such as dermabrasion and esthetic laser procedures to enhance nail health
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skin health, and beauty enhancements to enhance client experience
• Stay updated on the latest trends in color theory, nail art, and styling techniques to offer innovative services

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and extensions
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling or barbering are a plus
• Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication skills
• Familiarity with advanced treatments such as dermabrasion, laser therapy, hair extensions, hair threading, and eyelash extensions is advantageous
• Strong retail sales skills with the ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients and ensure their satisfaction
