Job Summary:
My Auto Grand Rapids is looking for experienced New and Used Sales Personnel for our Volkswagen, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Pre Owned Departments to join our team. We offer an aggressive pay plan and the most flexible schedule in the industry. The Sales Specialist would be responsible for showcasing the dealership’s vehicles, greeting customers that arrive, answering their questions and maintaining follow up with past customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in finding suitable used vehicles based on their needs and preferences.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the inventory, including vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
- Guide customers through the buying process, from initial inquiry to final sale, ensuring a positive experience.
- Negotiate vehicle prices and trade-in values to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to effectively position the dealership's inventory.
- Engage with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
- Assist with paperwork, including sales contracts, financing applications, and vehicle registration.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is often preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or marketing can be advantageous.
- A valid driver's license and, in some regions, a sales license may be required.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to customers.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and close deals.
- Ability to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions quickly.
- Efficiently manage time to juggle multiple customer interactions and sales processes.
