Seasonal Part-Time Bellhop / Elevator Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Seasonal Part-Time Bellhop/Elevator Operator to join our hospitality team during our busiest season. This position plays an important role in creating a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and operating our historic staff-operated elevator. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.
• Assist guests with luggage during arrival, departure, and upon request.
• Safely and courteously operate the property's historic staff-operated elevator.
• Provide information about the hotel, amenities, and local attractions.
• Escort guests to their rooms as needed and offer assistance with directions throughout the property.
• Help maintain an organized and welcoming lobby and entrance area.
• Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate any concerns to management.
• Follow all safety procedures while handling luggage and operating the elevator.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak business hours.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Seasonal, part-time position.
• Primarily scheduled during peak guest arrival and departure times, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
