The Opportunity

As the Operations Manager, you will be the key leader responsible for overseeing all daily production, product packaging & loading and logistics activities. You will drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, managing resources, and ensuring the timely production and shipping of high-quality goods while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all day-to-day production, scheduling, and logistical operations within the facility.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and minimize manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations (OSHA), and environmental standards.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for operational activities.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 5 years of leadership experience in operations management within a manufacturing or industrial environment (e.g., chemical, petrochemical, , etc.).
• Operational Experience with Automated High Speed Packaging Equipment a definite plus
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, quality systems, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to manage large teams, complex schedules, and production budgets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems and modern manufacturing technologies is highly desirable.
