Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Constantia, NY, for the role of Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will assist in daily kitchen operations, including preparing and overseeing meal preparation, managing kitchen staff during shifts, and ensuring high culinary standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety guidelines, collaborating on menu development, monitoring inventory, and ensuring kitchen efficiency. The Sous Chef will also mentor team members and step into the Head Chef's role when required to ensure smooth operations.

- Proven skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Experience with kitchen management, staff coordination, and inventory management
- Knowledgeable in food safety, health regulations, and kitchen sanitation practices
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and recipe development
- Ability to manage a high-pressure kitchen environment and multitask efficiently
- Culinary training or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable
