What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parkour and Tumbling coaches position at The Movement Center LLC?
The Movement Center is a tumbling, acrobatics, cheer and dance studio. We offer students, ages 18 months to adult, a unique environment where they can excel not only physically, but also grow socially and emotionally.
We are seeking coaches that can teach either tumbling, cheer, acro or parkour or all the above! These hours will be between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday and possibly Saturday mornings from 9am-12pm. The right person will be energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly and enjoy working with children. They will not only love to teach, but will also serve as a positive role model to their students.
Job Requirements:
- Experience teaching tumbling, acro, cheer or parkour to children
- Loves being around children
- Has a friendly and positive attitude
- Is motivated and able to sustain a high level of energy for an extended period of time.
- Available 2 weeknight evenings
- No injuries, disabilities, or physical limitations that hinder ability to spot athletes. If there are any spotting limitations, please provide accurate details in your application. Failure to provide accurate details could result in immediate termination upon hire.
- Experience teaching more than one type of movement is highly desirable.
This is a part time role but has the potential to grow as our program grows, and could possibly transform into a leadership position, or could be combined with other roles at our company for a full time role / the desired amount of hours.
We are willing to offer a competitive salary depending upon background and experience.
