Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver exceptional service in a high-volume setting, including fine dining establishments, nightclubs, and banquet events
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety and alcohol regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking
- Train team members on proper serving techniques, food handling, and responsible alcohol service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health standards
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective stock control
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in food service, retail math, cash handling, and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality settings like restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet venues
- Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation and cocktail recipes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and resolve issues promptly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets
- Basic math skills for cash transactions and sales reporting; experience with retail math is a plus
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards and hospitality best practices
