Reporting Specialist

The Motorcycle Company (TMC) operates twenty Harley-Davidson dealerships located in Detroit, Boston, Baltimore, Atlanta, Kansas City, Denver, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Manchester, Philadelphia, Houston, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, Fairfax, Salt Lake City, Huntington Beach, and Riverside, CA. We also own three powersports stores and one boat store, all in Florida. Our dealerships combined sell more new motorcycles than any other Harley-Davidson group in the world. Together, the three principals of TMC have over a half century of experience in the motorcycle industry.

Our Michigan office, located in Grand Rapids on the Beltline, is a shared services center that provides accounting, payroll, and other business support to the dealership group. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and help develop improved financial/statistical reports for senior management and dealership personnel, utilizing advanced spreadsheet, data mining and reporting techniques.
• Investigate and communicate variances with a focus on identifying root causes.
• Provide support and assistance to dealership personnel.
• Assist with future centralization initiatives.
• Special projects as needed by management, including acquisition activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with an Accounting / IT / business emphasis a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is beneficial.
• Demonstrated Experience and Proficiency with Excel Macros and related functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs applications.
• Experience with Access, Crystal Reports, and Talon is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Flexibility in performing multiple cross-functional tasks.
