What You'll Do
- Assist retail customers, technicians, and the service department with parts needs
- Identify and source automotive parts using Ford parts catalogs and other parts systems
- Sell and invoice parts to customers and internal departments
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts
- Maintain an accurate and organized parts inventory
- Look up parts by vehicle identification number (VIN), application, and part number
- Communicate with parts suppliers and other dealerships to locate parts when needed
- Process parts orders, returns, and warranties
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Work closely with the service and sales departments to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Ford dealership or dealership parts experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and parts lookup systems
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliable, dependable, and willing to be part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
