What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processor, Senior position at THE MORTGAGE LINK, INC.?
Are you a top-producing processor who can handle a heavy pipeline without missing a beat?
If you’re the person others rely on to get tough files to the closing table—and you don’t need hand-holding—we want to talk.
We’re a fast-moving, high-volume mortgage shop looking for an experienced, self-sufficient Processor who knows guidelines cold and can push loans through efficiently.
This is not an entry-level role. This is for processors who close deals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a high-volume pipeline from application to clear-to-close
- Structuring files upfront to avoid underwriting delays and conditions
- Reviewing income (including self-employed, complex, and Non-QM scenarios) with accuracy
- Clearing conditions quickly and proactively
- Communicating directly with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers to keep loans moving
- Ensuring files meet Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM guidelines
- Staying compliant with TRID/CFPB requirements while maintaining speed
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of mortgage processing experience (REQUIRED)
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume pipeline (this matters)
- Strong working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans
- Encompass experience strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze income independently (no reliance on underwriting to catch issues)
- Someone who anticipates problems and solves them before they slow the file down
- Organized, fast, and detail-oriented—you don’t let files sit
- Clear, confident communicator who can manage borrowers and internal teams
Why Top Processors Choose Us:
- High-volume environment = strong earning potential
- Remote flexibility (work from anywhere)
- No micromanagement—we hire experienced professionals and let them perform
- Strong operations support and consistent deal flow
- Opportunity to work on agency Non-QM files (keep your skills sharp and valuable)
Bottom Line:
If you’re a true closer, not just a file pusher—and you can handle pressure, volume, and complex deals—we want you on our team.
