The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing about 40% of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato growing, transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs approximately 500 year-round and over 3,000 seasonal colleagues.
The Morning Star Company is the largest independent producer of bulk tomato ingredient products (tomato paste and diced tomatoes) in the world. We also produce canned tomatoes, tomato products and specialty sauces in pouches for customers in the retail and food service markets. The company is known worldwide for its innovation and integrity.

Mission: To coordinate sorters allocation and verify color sorter accuracy, provide accurate & timely quality and grading information to front end and canning, so that changes can be made when necessary to meet customer expectations. Communicate manning needs with Human Resources and provide proper training and equipment for sorter colleagues.
Knowledge, Talent And Experience Requirements
Ability to listen & communicate written and oral information
Ability to push, pull and lift to 50lbs & work long hours, overnight and weekends throughout the season
Ability to work in high heat & cold weather conditions
Ability to follow GMP policies & work safely in fast-paced production areas
Ability to work in a Self-Management culture, guide Colleagues & be a team player
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Compensation
$22.50 -$24.00 per hour.
