Shipping Associate
Work in a fast-paced environment, be a strong team player, perform well under pressure, and require minimal supervision.
Pay Rate: Hourly Rate ($21-22)
Shift: 1st Shift 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime Expectations: Overtime may be required based on business needs (before/after shift or occasional weekends)
Department: Shipping
Must-Have Skills
-Order processing: picking, packing, labeling, and accurately verifying shipments.
-Shipping software & systems: familiarity with tools like warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
-Documentation: bills of lading, invoices, customs paperwork (especially for international shipments)
-Attention to detail: Catching errors in addresses, quantities, or labels. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations. Preventing costly returns or delays.
-Computer skills: Data entry and spreadsheets (especially Microsoft Excel). Email and internal communication tools. Learning new logistics platforms quickly.
Bonus/Valuable Skills
-Knowledge of supply chain concepts
-Experience with carriers like FedEx or UPS
-Forklift, pallet jack, or reach truck experience
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
