Essential Responsibilities
As a Clinical Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Follow the daily program schedule and complete assigned responsibilities as directed by your team and Program Manager.
- Support individuals in achieving their goals by consistently implementing service plans and teaching daily living skills.
- Ensure all services meet Residential Standards and Regulations established by the New Hampshire Division of Mental Health and Developmental Services and The Moore Center.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation, including daily notes, reports, and required recordkeeping.
- Communicate effectively with individuals served, coworkers, supervisors, and other members of the support team.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, while encouraging independence and self-advocacy.
- Promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals in all home and community settings.
- Safely supervise self-administration of medications or administer medications in accordance with agency policies and training.
- Complete required behavioral support training and consistently implement approved behavior support and risk management plans.
- Accompany and support individuals during medical appointments and other community outings.
- Provide safe transportation using agency-approved vehicles.
- Participate in required trainings, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
- Remain on shift until appropriate coverage is available, as directed by the House Manager or Shift Leader.
- Comply with New Hampshire's mandated reporting requirements for suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the program and the individuals we serve.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in human services required; 3 years preferred.
- Valid driver's license with access to a safe, reliable vehicle during scheduled work hours.
- Proof of automobile liability insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000.
- Satisfactory criminal background, motor vehicle, and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services (BEAS) background checks.
- Completion of required state training through Relias Learning or an equivalent program preferred.
- Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Part I and Part II training.
- As a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ), Direct Support Professionals must be willing to accompany individuals to religious services based on each person's preferences.

- Demonstrates flexibility with scheduling and daily responsibilities.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software and technology.
