Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing daily tasks that promote childhood development and early learning skills
- Assist with supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies
- Support classroom organization by maintaining organization and cleanliness
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience for working with diverse groups of children
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a busy childcare environment
