Founded in 2017, Abbott Events was previously composed of four luxury event spaces: The Abbott, The Bardot, The Harlow and The Austin. All four event spaces are located in the Crossroads Arts District of Downtown Kansas City. Due to client needs as well as customer satisfaction, Abbott Events is now expanding to a National Brand in multiple locations in 2022 including West Des Moines IA, Naperville, IL and most recently Pittsburg, PA with additional opportunities under consideration.
Abbott Events strives to provide unique, timeless and luxurious event spaces for memorable moments in individual's lives. The spaces are ideal for weddings, corporate events, and charity events. The venues offer a wide-range of sizes from 50-500 seated guests and 250-1,000 guests standing room.
What You Will Be Doing
Moderate to high volume of bartending capability
Efficient bar setup, breakdown, & cleaning
Restocking glassware and bar as needed
Adherence to the Venue Manager's event direction
Ensuring the correct bar package and event details are applied for each event
Able to work weekends and some holidays. Weekday flexibility would be ideal as well.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week

- Experience in bartending with moderate to high-volume service preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and relatively consistent availability — weekend and evening availability is preferred, as this is when most events take place.
