A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Financial Analyst to help support their business needs.

- Analyze supplier contracts to identify pricing errors, contract discrepancies, and cost recovery opportunities
- Perform financial analysis using enterprise systems to determine the root causes of contract pricing issues
- Review contract reports and ad hoc data to identify savings opportunities
- Prepare and communicate audit findings to Purchasing and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve contract issues
- Support supplier negotiations by providing financial analysis and audit findings
- Drive the timely closure of contract audits, recovery cases, and supplier overpayments
- Track and report key performance metrics, including audit completion, case aging, and cost recoveries
- Conduct special financial studies and analyses as requested by leadership
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce pricing errors and strengthen contract accuracy
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the audit and recovery process
- Support annual supplier cost recovery initiatives and financial performance goals
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, contract analysis, audit, or a related field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, formulas, and data analysis
- Experience analyzing contracts to identify pricing discrepancies or financial recovery opportunities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience preparing financial reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Purchasing, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented with strong decision-making and stakeholder management skills
- M-F, 40 hours/week
- Hybrid in Warren, MI - 3 days(Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in-office, 2 days remote per week
